Artworks: final lines and curves

In these final works Canney reduced circles and squares to basic building blocks of arcs and straight lines, producing works in which the dynamic relation between these two fundamental shapes is pared down to its most minimal elements. Shortly after he completed these, physical infirmity forced him to stop work permanently.
